I experimented with making envelopes the other day and ended up making several matching card/envelope sets. I used patterned paper and took apart an envelope to use as a template. I don't typicallymake my own envelopes so I do not have any envelope sealer stuff but, double stick tape will work just fine.
I'm rather pleased with the result and I think it makes an attractive combination!
